(Richardson, Texas) – Alliance Architects, Inc., a full service design firm, is pleased to announce that Alliance Architects’ Ms. Jordan Raymond, Registered Interior Designer and LEEP AP ID+C, has passed the WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP) exam. Jordan is passionate about advancing human health and wellness in buildings and communities through thoughtful interior design.
Jordan shares, “I chose to take the WELL AP exam because WELL is “personal”. Each feature highlights the body systems that they effect. When you see how a feature is affecting the muscular, cardiovascular, or endocrine system and so on, the features become incredibly tangible – and personal. They motivate you to want to better your surroundings to live a healthier lifestyle. The Well Building Standard is not only performance-based but is grounded in evidence-based medical research. WELL simply just makes sense. As designers of our built environment, why wouldn’t we want to use the best practices out there to try to make indoor environments as healthy as they can be – especially in the time that we are in right now? We spend 90% of our lives indoors so let’s create spaces for people to live, work, and play that enhance the well-being of the users.”
Jordan’s focus is interior design and project management for both renovation and new construction projects. She helps oversee projects from design through construction and has significant experience with clients in industrial and office interiors.
President Charlie Reagan states “Jordan is talented designer, and we are thrilled to celebrate her achievement. We continue to watch her grow as a professional as she is a valuable leader in our interior team”. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Kansas State University and is also LEED AP ID+C certified.
