Education
WHERE WE LEARN MATTERS. How we learn is equally imperative.
The spacial design of an educational environment should provide opportunities for each student and educator. Designing open flexible learning spaces where students are no longer tethered to a stationary desk or one educator, can provide a holistic approach where all can continue to focus on the quality and creativity of both educating and learning. Our design process opens the imagination and allows where and how we learn to evolve, enabling our clients to adapt to challenges encountered along the way.
We believe in creating spaces that embrace, enhance, and refine a school’s teaching and learning methodology. We also believe that learning environments need to be flexible and allow for many different types of configurations. The learning environment needs to reflect both the pedagogical and physical parameters defined by the district.
We believe schools are not simply classrooms with rows of desks facing a blackboard. Opportunities for learning can be found everywhere. Diversifying learning environment allows a school to embrace different styles of learning. We believe in creating appropriate educational solutions for each individual school’s unique qualities. Whether group or individual, quiet or active, formal or informal, each space is carefully considered to ensure that the facility as a whole is able to provide meaningful learning environments throughout.
