City of Plano

Technology Services Data Center

The Technology Services Data Center is a Tier 3 Data Center and an Administration Office which provides support to City of Plano government offices such as the Fire Department, Police and Administration. This building was originally the City Hall and main Fire Station in the 1960’s, before being converted to offices for the City of Plano.

Alliance Architects teamed up with the City of Plano to bring the facility into the 21st century with increased capability and efficiency while preserving much of the original building’s structure and character throughout the two-phase renovation.   To meet the needs of the bustling city, the project team assisted in keeping the facility operational during construction.  Project features executive offices, open support spaces, a training room, conference rooms, an employee breakroom and a public service area. Sustainable finishes are used throughout the building.

First in Class

Our experience with Alliance Architects has been first in class. Not only are they great communicators and designers but they also understand the owner mentality when it comes to cost and schedule. They are able to balance the aesthetics with functionality which is a huge plus in the markets we work in. I would recommend Alliance Architects to small and large developers.
