YMCA Park South project involved demolishing an existing building and designing a new one to
increase youth services by 35%. The project added new features to the afterschool, summer
day camp, teen, and aquatics programs, while also expanding the number of classrooms. In
partnership with DISD, Park South provides a standardized academic curriculum that increases
kindergarten readiness levels for children. The project aimed to improve the quality of services offered
to youth, providing them with a safe and enriching environment for their development and growth.
