Technology Services Data Center
This adaptive reuse project was originally built in the early 1960’s as Plano’s City Hall and Fire Station. The hot aisle/cold aisle setup shown here occupies the space formerly occupied by fire trucks. The goal of the project was to consolidate several data center locations, including this existing building, which was then occupied by the Technology Services Department. As such, great care was taken during two phases of construction to keep the facility running 24/7.
