Alliance Architects recently completed an interior finish-out for Rentokil Terminix’s North American Innovation Center in Dallas, Texas. The project aimed to create a space reflecting Rentokil’s commitment to safety, sustainability, and scientific innovation.
The revamped space showcases a modern office layout, state-of-the-art laboratories, and collaborative areas, catering to functions from groundbreaking research to client presentations and team interactions.
Our goal was to create an environment that accommodated Rentokil’s growth while inspiring creativity, boosting productivity, and fostering collaboration among employees.
To achieve this, we maximized natural light by adding exterior windows and incorporating extensive interior glazing, creating a bright, inviting atmosphere that enhances employee well-being and productivity.
A key challenge was designing dual-purpose laboratory spaces: providing a professional, low-distraction environment for scientists while serving as showcase areas for clients and executives. We implemented a highly sound-resistant interior glazing system and strategically positioned the labs near the front of the office, allowing for easy tours without disrupting daily operations.
The workspace design aligns closely with Rentokil’s values, incorporating hexagonal elements throughout. This geometric shape symbolizes concepts from entomology, chemistry, and organizational strength, reinforcing Rentokil’s brand identity in a visually striking way.
Our approach emphasized functional design elements to enhance the everyday employee experience. By focusing on quality lighting, superior acoustics, and collaborative spaces, we created an environment that supports Rentokil’s mission while providing an exceptional workplace.
The result is a space that seamlessly aligns with employee work routines and showcases Rentokil’s innovative spirit. Comfortable and adaptable personal workstations, collaboration zones, and integrated technology further enhance productivity.
This project exemplifies Alliance Architects’ ability to transform client aspirations into functional, inspiring workspaces. The new North American Innovation Center meets Rentokil’s current needs and positions them for future growth in the pest control industry, demonstrating the power of thoughtful, client-centered design in creating environments that truly work.
